Marksman

The Marksman Web Design Package is a bit different in terms of site builds.  It isn’t a stuffy corporate site.  In fact, it isn’t really a site you would send clients to if you already knew them.  The site we are talking about is the one you send clients to that you don’t know about!

In fact, when we were talking about the name of this package - It was originally “Sniper.”  [edit - That's the one I was pulling for anyway. -- Jason]  But the popular consensus was that it needed to be more term friendly.

Over the past few years, we have used websites for a whole host of things including lead generation, portals, client attraction, and single product launch pages.  All of the sites set out to do a singular mission that they executed very well.  So we figured we would offer it to you as well!

You can use the Marksman Web Design Package for these sorts of projects:

  • A dedicated website that acts as a landing page - coupled with online or offline marketing.  This entry page serves as a chokepoint that forces people to leave their information, so you can later contact them.  It’s excellent for combining new marketing with a web presence.
  • Portal pages that act as front doors to a couple websites, or a couple different areas of a website. These can be extremely effective to group together related products, services or ideas.  Tie this to an information request page, and you are as good as gold.
  • Independent product pages - Lots of times an individual product gets lost in the folds of a website.  This happens especially when products aren’t the sole focus of the business.  For example, a software company that primarily does consulting, but launches occasional products might do well to promote this strategy.

There are many different applications to which we can apply the Marksman concept.  The backbone isn’t really the medium (the website), but more in manipulating page content and design to reach a desired outcome.

Do you want more information on perspective clients?  This is how to do it.
